Official Space Weather Advisory issued by NOAA Space Weather Prediction Center Boulder, Colorado, USA SPACE WEATHER ADVISORY OUTLOOK #14-7 2014 February 17 at 12:47 a.m. MST (2014 February 17 0747 UTC) **** SPACE WEATHER OUTLOOK **** Summary For February 10-16 Category R1 (Minor) radio blackouts were observed from 11-14 February and again on 16 February due to flare activity from Regions 1974 and 1977. Category G1 (Minor) geomagnetic storms were observed on 15-16 February due to the arrival of coronal mass ejections from 11 and 12 February. Outlook For February 17-23 R1 (Minor) radio blackouts are likely through 23 February due to potential flare activity from Regions 1974, 1977, and the return of old Regions 1967 and 1968. Data used to provide space weather services are contributed by NOAA, USAF, NASA, NSF, USGS, the International Space Environment Services and other observatories, universities, and institutions.
